Crystal of the gods is set in a time of turmoil as war is raging between the evil troll Gwogmires and King Arnos of Celestra.

After a fierce battle between the two formidable forces King Arnos' army is defeated. In a fit of rage his son Titus kills his father and sides with Scarig leader of the Gwogmires.

Aldrik the head of Arnos's army, learns from the dying King of a magical crystal that can destroy the Gwogmires and is thus propelled into a race to possess it.

With Titus and his men and the Gwogmires in pursuit and with dangers lurking everywhere, Aldrik and his companions must complete numerous deadly tasks before meeting face to face the powerful protector of the crystal, the hideous Hestia.
